The Wedding Day: Elizabeth and I traveled to Troy, NY to photograph Brendan and Gabby's big day. Brendan is the brother of my sister-in-law, so it was super fun to photograph another family member's wedding! And, bonus... I got to see my nephews (peep the cute photo of Jack looking up at the bride below). The first look took place on an empty warehouse floor within the venue. Definitely one of the coolest first-look spots and the light was amazing. Elizabeth and I couldn't stop gushing over the location and Brendan and Gabby in the space...I mean...do they moonlight as models?
We pulled them out at sunset for a quick set. I love sunset photo sessions, even if we get just a few moments with the bride and groom! Also, I love having a second shooter, as I am shooting in one direction Elizabeth is getting a totally different angle.
The dance floor was packed throughout the night as guests danced with glow sticks and munched on some of the yummiest desserts I have ever tasted!
