Terms & Conditions:

1. Heidi E. Reuter Photography and Reuter Studios will also be referred to as HER.
2. It is understood this HER is the exclusive official photographer retained to perform the photographic services requested on this contract.
3. A non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking full portrait sessions and weddings.
4. Full Portrait Sessions: In the event of inclement weather, alternative options such as a rain date or dates will be made available to you. Session retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred to another party if necessary, or can be applied to at a later date pending HER availability if the client is unable to attend the session. Re-shoots and refunds will not be given for poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair, or weather-related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer.
5. Mini sessions: are paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable. In the event that a mini-session needs to be canceled by the photographer, mini-session payments can be applied to a future mini-session or to a partial payment for a future full portrait session.
6. No part of any order, including previews, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full.
7. An unlimited number of photographs will be taken, but HER will have complete discretion as to the final delivery of files to the client.
8. HER aims to send a link to download the edited digital images to the client within two weeks of a portrait session date, within ten weeks of a wedding, and within 72 hours of a mini-session. The client has 30 days to download the files for a portrait session and 90 days for a wedding. The photographer will not provide other images or unedited images to the client.
9. The Client must download images immediately upon delivery to his/her personal computer or cloud-based storage.  HER is not responsible for images not downloaded and does not provide a hard copy of files.
10. HER grants the Client full rights to reproduce photos.  The client may print an unlimited number of images with the printer of the Client’s choosing.  HER retains copyrights of all images and may use images in any form or medium for any purpose.
11. HER shall not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of the Client’s failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation.
12. If HER cannot fulfill this Contract due to fire or another casualty, strike, the act of God, or other cause beyond the control of HER, or due to HER’s illness or emergency, then HER shall return only the retainer to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer.
13. In the event the photographer fails to perform for any other reason, HER shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of the client’s order. The client releases Heidi Reuter from all liabilities, claims, and damages that may result from any accidents or incidents that may happen during the session.
14. HER is not responsible for loss, theft, or damages of the Client’s personal property or the personal property of the Client’s family.
15. If the Client fails to arrive at the session location promptly at the time of the session appointment, the session may be shortened so as to not cut into the next scheduled session.
16. Photo sessions are limited to one location within Berks County unless the photographer and Client both agree on additional locations.  Additional locations will incur a fee of $75 per additional location.
17. Additional coverage will be billed at $250/hr or part thereof. 
18. Mileage will be billed at the gov’t rate beyond a 30-mile radius of our studio. If travel time is beyond 3 hours total (there and back), a $50/hr travel fee + mileage will be added to the session total.
19. HER retains full rights to the photos and may use the Client’s images for any purpose, in any medium (such as but not limited to, posting on the photographer’s blog and Facebook page, Social Media, or printing for promotional purposes). The Client grants HER full rights to use his/her images, and the images of everyone in the client’s family, for any purpose.
20. The Client may not edit, color correct, crop, add a filter, or alter images in any way.
21. By paying the retainer, the Client agrees to all terms and conditions.
