Jo and Peter's micro wedding was the perfect way to spend a Friday afternoon! Elizabeth and I enjoyed documenting their small, intimate wedding day. When we arrived Jo was getting her makeup done outside on the beautiful wrap around porch and the rest of the family was setting up for the dinner post-ceremony. We headed to the church for a small ceremony where Jo's family read scripture and sang together. It was really special. As Jo and Peter said their vows a storm was ripping through good old Mohnton, and it didn't hold back. Elizabeth and I spent some time getting creative with the bride and groom photos within the church since outside was not an option at that moment. Jo and Peter were champs...especially when Elizabeth and I asked them to cuddle under the only covered area outside at the church to get a few shots while the thunder cracked in the air. :) Afterwards, we headed back to the house to capture a few candid shots of the family dinner. Congrats to Jo and Peter for "weathering" their first storm together, hehe.
